Cosplay Contests at Fan Conventions

The Cos Shop proudly sponsors of Sunshine City Scare 2026 (Aug. 15-16), Anime St. Pete 2026 (Sept. 26-27), Holiday St. Pete 2026 (Nov. 21-22), and St. Pete Comic Con 2027 (April 17-18)—four Florida fan conventions that emphasize cosplay and are known for attracting a large percentage of attendees in costume. For each cosplay contest, we proudly provide the cash prizes while enhancing the winners' awards with gift certificates to The Cos Shop.

Florida Comic Cons Best Cosplay We See Competition

We are also proud to sponsor 10 Florida Comic Cons' Best Cosplay We See! competitions where the news media site travels to the top fan cons in Florida to showcase the best cosplayers. Unlike traditional stage contests, Best Cosplay We See! celebrates cosplayers directly on the convention floor, giving participants an opportunity to gain recognition without the pressure of performing on stage. Every participant is featured, while winners receive free tickets to future Florida fan conventions.

Cosplay/er, a Horror Film Born in Cosplay Culture

Our commitment to the community also extends beyond conventions. The Cos Shop is the proud sponsor of Cosplay/er, an upcoming indie horror film. This is the first-ever slasher film set to the backdrop of cosplay and fan cons. We’ll be supplying cosplay makeup, special effects products, wigs, and build materials to be used throughout the production.
